**WET WEATHER UPDATE**

It’s a bit drizzly but do not fear we have a fantastic indoor venue –  for one night only a very cool hanger at Portland Marina will be the venue for tonight’s performances and music. So it’s ON and it will be FANTASTIC!

An evening premiering a new film by Hugh Dunford Wood in collaboration with Stephen Clarke of biggerhouse film, live spoken word from Belinda Zhawi, and some DJ vibes courtesy of Vinyl Van and The Hoodoo (We Think We Are) Jukebox.

This Is Us

A mesmerising film of hundred’s of portraits lit only by the striking of a single match. The strike creates a sudden flare, revealing a slowly illuminating portrait before dying away to darkness again. Capturing a moment of concentration, these are intimations of mortality.  As one head fades into obscurity, another appears out of the darkness. This is Us – the Isle of Portland today.

Viva Voce

A live spoken word performance by Belinda Zhawi. Viva Voce, is an ongoing exploration of displacement and the role water plays in themes of loss and home. It traces the movement of tides, people, animals, and goods. The performance blends reflections on two great rivers, bound together by a shared history of trade, movement, and migration. 

Vinyl Van

Solar-powered music joy and party vibes will ring out over Portland Marina from the Vinyl Van joined by The Hoodoo (We Think We Are) Jukebox and DJ Ibi.
