b-side has installed the striking Portland Dress at Dorset Museum & Art Gallery, where it will be on display for the next six months as part of the Art in the Making exhibition.

Beautifully presented within the gallery space, the dress showcases the remarkable creativity and talent rooted in Portland. We are delighted to be working with the Museum to share this work with the thousands of visitors who pass through its doors.

As part of the exhibition, the stories that inspired several of the dress’s embroidered elements will also be included in the Museum’s digital archive, offering deeper insight into the people and narratives behind the piece.
