Platform bursaries are aimed at emerging visual artists or established artists interested in exploring new ways of working in a site-responsive/temporary/outdoor context.
This year b-side has worked In partnership with CODA arts.
Bursary artists receive £500 to experiment and create work, have access to mentoring from b-side and the partner organisation and an opportunity to exhibit new work.
The selected bursary artists for 2024 is Maddison Collimore.
I’ve gained valuable insight into managing and facilitating large groups, enhancing my ability to engage participants meaningfully. This project has been supported by invested research, with the mentoring and guidance necessary to produce a well-informed and in-depth creative study
