Our Outpost Winter Windows are up!

We had a great response to our call out to local residents and artists to create festive displays for the large street-level windows of our project space Outpost. We chose two very different ideas which we think compliment each other brilliantly.

‘The Glass House’ created by artist Sophie Fretwell during lockdown celebrates the people, pets, hobbies etc that helped residents during some difficult times during COVID.

‘LOVE’ by artist Claire Shilton is made from recycled and repurposed materials. Inspired by a poem by William Morris ‘Love is Enough’ we thought it shared a great message for this time of year.

Both windows will be up until Jan 2023 and will be lit for short periods in the evening too.
