Join sound artist Jo Tyler and discover the unique sounds and nature of The Last Landscape on a gentle sound stroll.
You’ll be listening to the Portland landscape whilst admiring the unique vista at the most southern point of the island.
Explore the themes of the Common Land project, the biodiversity and history of this space with stops at key points of interest on a route mapped out with residents.
This walk will also share basic field recording techniques to capture audio on your portable devices (mobile phones and pads), plus the opportunity to get involved recording your own audio responses and stories of the spaces we encounter to make a unique Common Land podcast episode.
