In the Field features Artists Duncan Whitley, Daniel Jones and James Bulley in conversation with each other and the audience. Cecilia Wee (FRSA) will convene, focusing on the motivation, challenges and consequences of site-responsive audio work, where the Artist is engaged in an investigation of place, taking into account geography, locality, topography and community.
Dr Cecilia Wee is an independent curator, researcher and Tutor in the School of Communication, RCA, London. Cecilia produces projects that challenge the assumed role of creativity in society, particularly working with experimental sound, performance, visual art and design practices. Cecilia has curated projects for organisations including Akademie der Künste Berlin, Magazin 4 Bregenz, Tate and Whitechapel Gallery. She is Chair of the Live Art Development Agency, trustee of Resonance FM, advisory board member for Artquest and former Area Council Member for Arts Council England (London Area).
