Come along to a FREE artist talk at Outpost for our second Artist Talk Double Bill.

Katarina Rose

Katarina Rose is Lisa Lindqvist’s alter ego. Katarina will discuss how her historical research & findings into Portland’s unique customs and Folklore have helped to evolve her current b-side project and pieces. For b-side festival 2016, Katarina’s works will be embedded in various locations around the Island including the area around St Andrew’s Ruin, Church Ope Cove, St George’s Church and in Fortuneswell where a ‘Charm Shop’ will be on display. For more information on Katarina Rose click here.

Debbie Adele Cooper

Debbie worked with Dartmoor Prison Museum’s archive to explore the stories of 100 years ago and uncovered diaries by men who refused to fight in the war upon grounds of conscience. For b-side festival 2016, Debbie will be creating a sound installation inside St George’s Church using current prisoners recorded words from the diaries, sharing the ‘Unseen and Unheard Things’ of incarceration during WWI.
