In 2021 they undertook a mentoring program with b-side resulting in the curation of a series of community co-created performative walking tours titled ‘Promenade of Opes and Dreams’, which were led by the artist duo Promenade. The project also involved residents and visitors of Portland recording their hopes and dreams for the future on postcards to their future selves.

For b-side Festival 2022

For the 2022 b-side festival the b-side New Curators are excited to expand on their previous work and announce a takeover of the Chiswell Walled Gardens as a chance to chat with visitors about your Opes and Dreams for the future. This year’s project is titled ‘Opes and Dreams: Friends of the Future’, an exciting new intergenerational project with many creative writing activities to capture the dreams of Portlanders and its visitors.
