Dan Babei

Dan Babei is a musician and performer, living on Portland

His previous world music band The Dead Eye collective, toured to festivals like Isle of Wight, Hangout UK, Elementary and played at Poole Museum, and won the “buskers bash” competition in Wimborne and he has acted in various Arts Council funded community plays.

Dan has always travelled, but moved from his native Transylvania to the UK in 1997, eventually ending up on the windswept island of Portland. He loves nature, so Portland’s wild landscape is endlessly inspiring. He loves garlic and has very sharp teeth.
