Based in Bristol and Somerset, biggerhouse film are Tom Stubbs and Stephen Clarke.
Over the last 20 years we have been making award winning dramas, documentaries and animation films. We specialise in working alongside people and communities to tell their stories and have their voices heard. We often work with people who might describe themselves as being removed from the centre; Neurodivergent creatives, people living with dementia and people with learning differences.
Recent commissions include an NHS funded film called ‘We need to talk about death’ made with adults with learning differences, addressing the taboo about talking about death and dying.
In 2018 we set up Different voices which is an ongoing talent development project for Neurodivergent, artist and filmmakers. The focus of Different Voices is to build a strong community, platforming and celebrating the work of people who we consider to face considerable barriers to accessing the film industry or education via traditional means.
