Work alongside Pete Millson, study portraiture and take your own portraiture shots on Portland.
Work alongside other local photographers (as the collective Ten Shots) and display your own portraiture shots in a weeklong exhibition at Outpost.
Pete Millson is well known for his portraiture work. In 2009 the National Portrait Gallery in London acquired six of Pete's portraits for their permanent collection. He's worked as a contributor for NME, the Guardian, the Independent, the Times amongst countless other publications.
This opportunity will include:
Workshops with Pete Millson
Taking your own portraits on Portland and discussing them within a focussed group of other 'emerging' photographers (and Pete)
Working within a group, with Pete as your mentor, to create your own exhibition
Talking about your work in an open event at Outpost
Participating in an evaluation session - for you to give feedback and for b-side to deliver some of Pete's feedback
