Let’s celebrate this fantastic Isle and everyone who perches on it!

Spring is in the air (it really is!) – we know that Portland is full of creative geniuses, so send us your ideas to decorate our huge front windows at Outpost in Fortuneswell. Our gorgeous Winter windows are coming down and now those windows need some more LOVE!

The window must work in daylight and could be illuminated at night for our night-time passers-by. The theme is Love Your Community – what is it about Portland’s community you love?

We are offering £150 to an artist or group to decorate one of our windows to bring a smile to the high street in time for Valentine’s Day February 14th.

HOW TO APPLY

Send us a rough sketch and idea of what you would like to do by 9am February 3rd to sandy@b-side.org.uk, we will select two ideas (one for each window) and let you know if your idea has been selected by Feb 6th.

You must be able to create the window (exact times by arrangement) so the window is up and ready for the weekend of February 10th and 11th.
The opportunity is open to one artist or an artists group.

FEE £150 (inc of materials etc)

If you can’t send an email then pop your idea through the letterbox of Outpost, 77 Fortuneswell, DT5 1LY in an envelope with your contact details by 9am February 3rd.
