Earlier in the year as part of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations b-side teamed up with Island Community Action (ICA) and commissioned photographer Richard Tomlinson, audio artist Jo Tyler and textile artist Antje Rook to co-create some very special Jubilee souvenirs. Over 200 people took part in the project, bringing along a special something or someone to be photographed to create a unique collection of souvenir ceramics. Everything from old photographs, tools, instruments, suitcases even pet dogs were documented as well as the people themselves, many dressing up for the occasion too!
The ceramic collection will exhibited for one final time at Community 2000 on Portland on November 18th and 19th.
