We are really pleased to welcome Megan Dunford and Trevor Smith as guest bloggers and writers to b-side festival this year.
Megan Dunford completed a BA Hons Fine Art degree in 2011 based in Dorset; she works for several organisations around the South West leading their participation & visual arts programmes. Her practice combines photography, painting, drawing and the written word.
Trevor H. Smith is an artist and freelance writer. Subject matter comes from everyday life, while the nature of the work, having long been text-based, has taken a shift towards walking and the spoken word. Currently an MA Fine Art student at UWE, Bristol, Trevor is currently considering the significance of this shift, if indeed there is any. Trevor has written for numerous publications and was selected for the 2017-18 a-n Artists Information Company Writer Development Programme. Recent writing residencies include Od Arts Festival in rural Somerset and Inventory of Behaviours at Tate Exchange, London.
