Chesil Beach and Fleet Lagoon are internationally important areas for nature conservation, supporting a great diversity of wildlife and their associated habitats.
Throughout the guided walk we will aim to spot as many species of birds as possible and following a falling tide, offers the best chance to see many of our waders, including sanderling and ringed plover. There will be plenty of time to ask questions and more information about the nature reserve will be given throughout the walk.
Please bring with you binoculars and if you have a telescope, that may be useful too. We do have a very limited number of binoculars to borrow and there will also be use of a telescope.
This event is suitable for beginners to birdwatching and for families, but all children (Ages 8-15) must be accompanied by an adult at all times. This event is suitable for children aged 8 and above.
We look forward to seeing you
