A day of walks, talks and discussion that explore our relationship and access to land
CONVERSATION 11am – 1pm
Featuring speakers from around the world and around the corner including:
Hyppolite Ntigurirwa, artist, author and peace ambassador. In 2019, he envisioned and conducted the ‘Be the Peace Walk‘, a 100-day performance piece in which he walked across the country in commemoration of 25 years since the end of the Tutsi genocide in Rwanda.
Anita Sethi, journalist and award-winning writer. She is the author of ‘I Belong Here: a Journey Along the Backbone of Britain’ (Bloomsbury, Spring 2021).
Alexa DeFeranti Lower Hewood Farm a 45-acre, certified organic small-holding located on the borders of Dorset, Devon, and Somerset a portion of which is a Site of Nature Conservation Interest.
Termokiss a community-run center in Prishtina, Kosovo with the mission of urban and civil exchange, reflection and change-making.

COMMONING PEACE
Artist and activist Hyppolite Ntigurirwa takes us on a journey, highlighting how we can use walking as a gesture towards peace-making. More Information and booking HERE
FORAGING WALK WITH BUSHWHACKER TOURS

Join Bob Ford for a beautiful guided walk in two of Portland’s most attractive quarries – Inmosthay and Tout. More information and booking HERE
EXHIBITION 11am – 4pm
An exhibition of photographs, films and documents from the This Land research including archive materials from Stuart Morris’s collection. Open all day but pop in between 2- 4pm for conversation with Andrew Harvey from Portland’s Court Leet and historical author Shelagh Mazey.
