The Comfort of Things is a one-hour autobiographical solo performance exploring a year in the life of Andy, a final year university student who found out he was going to lose his home. The performance uses Andrew’s personal experience of homelessness as a launchpad to discuss the wider issues surrounding the UK’s growing homeless crisis. As a member of ‘generation rent’ Andy is not alone and the problem is growing faster than anyone could have predicted.
