Join film-maker Kevin Cameron to shoot and hand process Super 8 film.
Prior to the mid-1980s, Super 8 was the only accessible way of making moving images and became the favourite medium of home movie devotees as well as artists.
A Super 8 reel lasts for around 3 minutes, and in this workshop you will be developing some sequences and trying out various techniques such as stop frame animation, developing film in a lomo tank using an organic process known as cafenol, a mix of instant coffee, soda ash and vitamin C.
