Follow the call of Siren Song
Join artists Chloe Mantripp, Mike McCallum & Sophie Greenwood for a playful and poignant promenade performance inspired by Portland’s folklore, fairground traditions and wild coastal spirit.
A tale of the elements, hope, fear and community, Siren Song celebrates Portland’s free spirit with joy, magic and mischief.
Led by a cast of curious characters—including Portland’s legendary Mer-Chicken, the White Stag/Black Rider and the White Hare—this outdoor adventure combines circus, storytelling and live music in a journey along the seafront.
Part procession, part myth and part mischief, it draws on the Island’s history of Portland Fair, carnival parades and local legends to create a world where the extraordinary feels just within reach.
Siren Song invites audiences into an enigmatic world that blends reality with folklore, playfully exploring the space between experience and understanding.
Expect circus, live music, storytelling—and dress for the elements.
