Running time: 60 minutes
A powerful double bill featuring an Oscar-winning short film alongside an opening-night favourite from the 2025 Iris Prize LGBTQ+ Film Festival.
From forbidden kisses to real-life revolution, these films remind us that love has always been an act of resistance.
In one, a society where affection is outlawed is challenged by a simple act of intimacy. In the other, the extraordinary true story of a pioneering lesbian activist reveals how courage and determination helped generations of queer women build families and communities.
Together, the films celebrate desire, protest and the people who refused to live by anyone else’s rules.
