Inspired by Portland’s quarrying heritage, this playful installation reimagines the Island’s iconic Scotch derrick cranes as an oversized fairground grabber. Towering above an inflatable pit of possibilities, the crane invites visitors to test their skill – and their luck.
Take control of the crane, position the grabber and attempt to pluck an oversized lucky charm from below. In the true spirit of fairground attractions, winning a prize is almost impossible – but enormous fun to try.
