A window exhibition by Weymouth-based artist and curator Christopher Lee.
As part of Open for Art we are exhibiing work by artist and curator Christopher Lee. His practice spans sculpture, installation, and digital. He has exhibited widely in Dorset and the United Kingdom, and has curated work for b-side Festival as part of b-side New Curators.
The installation ‘No purchase necessary’ comprises a series of assemblages of everyday objects and materials which have been repurposed, giving them a release into some new poetic transient state. They are absurd sculptural relics of a previous function; decorative yet uncommercial due to their intherently ephemeral nature.
