A moving soundscape in the landscape that inspired it.
Originally commissioned by Art on the Underground for London’s Waterloo Station, Go Find Miracles returns to the Isle of Portland, where the work first began.
Recorded deep inside a Portland stone quarry, this immersive sound installation explores the Island’s enduring connection to London, forged through centuries of quarrying and the labour of imprisoned people who helped shape both the landscape and the harbour.
Blending music, poetry and spoken reflection, the work features vocalist Robyn Haddon, singers from Rory Pilgrim’s wider collaborations, and lyrics developed with men from HMP/YOI Portland.
Their voices resonate through the quarry, weaving together stories of place, memory, justice and belonging.
Experience this moving soundscape in the landscape that inspired it, where geology, history and human lives meet beneath the surface.
