As part of Refugee Week, Dorset Place of Sanctuary, b-side and the Friends of b-side present two films that explore place, identity and migration.
'Fire at Sea' is a documentary by Gianfranco Rosi, described by the Guardian as 'a masterly and moving look at the migrant crisis'. The film contrasts the lives of the desperate thousands landing on the shores of a Sicilian island with the everyday existence of the locals.
'The Conversation' by Marica Chandra documents the work of Farhad Berahman, an Iranian artist whose has taken photographs of Portlanders for this year's b-side Festival.
Drinks and light snacks will be available to buy.
Tickets: £6 per person.
All proceeds will be donated to the Red Cross.
