Boats of Dreams workshop for the Portland Parade.
Boats of Dreams is setting sail once again — this time at the Portland Community Venue!
On Sunday 31st August, join artist Holly Miller for Boats of Dreams — a magical prop-making workshop where you’ll design and create symbolic boats to carry your hopes, wishes, and aspirations.
All ages welcome — no experience needed, just bring your imagination!
10am–2pm at the Portland Community Venue. Each boat takes around two hours, so we’ll pause for a lunch break (bring something along). Snacks will be provided.
Your finished boat will be yours to use proudly in the Portland Parade, joining a colourful celebration of creativity, community, and dreams set afloat.
