Come along to our second Artist Talk in the lead up to b-side festival 2016.

Simon Lee Dicker from OSR Projects will be visiting Outpost on Thursday 7th July, 7pm.
He will talking about OSR Projects’ current project, the ‘Weather Station’, which will feature in this years b-side festival.

Weather Station is a mobile pavilion for the collection of images, objects and ideas. An artist-led response to flooding and extreme weather, exploring the changing relationship we have with landscape and the natural world. Cumulative rather than collaborative, the structure passes from one artist to the next, gathering traces of its journey through the streets, fields and rivers of SouthWest England.

Simon will be talking about the Weather Station’s journey over the past 18 months, the exhibition that will take place at the Drill Hall in September and a new work that has been developed specifically for the festival.
