**POSTPONED** Come and meet sound artist Steve Urquhart

With regret we have had to postpone Steve's talk for the time being. We are mindful of the health and well being of our team, artists and supporters and the changing situation with Coronavirus. We are looking at other ways to share our artist's ideas with you online, keep in touch with us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for more information.

Steve is a sound artist, radio producer and composer. He creates sound-rich documentaries for BBC (Radio 4, Radio 3, World Service) and others worldwide. He's produced audio installations and site-specific soundscapes for major exhibitions at the Science Museum (London) and the Foundling Museum, plus sound design projects for National Library of Scotland, Radiophrenia and others.

One in twelve people living on Portland are being held in custody. From their perspective, what does the island sound like?

Presented inside an actual decommissioned prison van, Steve Urquhart's unique and intimate soundscape will invite festival-goers to focus on the realities, the energies, the commotion, the isolation, the ambience and the silence behind Portland's prison walls. Step inside the van, to hear what they hear.

The talk starts at 7pm and will last about 45 minutes, it's FREE but as we have limited seating capacity in Outpost we would advise you to book your seat.

Look forward to seeing you.
