Support Portland Artists and Help Save France Quarry - buy art and protect a valued community green space
A campaign to raise £60,000 to secure part of France Quarry on the Isle of Portland for people and nature is well underway. Thanks to generous public support, £25,000 has already been raised — but time is running out. The remaining funds must be secured by April to ensure this important green space is protected for future generations.
Buy Art – A New Way to Support the Campaign
There is now another exciting way to help. Alongside donations and pledges, supporters can purchase original artwork, with 100% of the proceeds going directly to the France Quarry campaign.
An online art auction is now live and accepting bids, featuring a range of original works generously donated by local and nationally recognised artists. Many of the artworks can also be viewed in person in the window of The Wool Shop, Easton..
Auction closes on 14 March
All artworks are offered at well below their usual gallery prices, making this a unique opportunity to buy a beautiful piece of art while helping to safeguard a treasured woodland and green space for Portland.
