Go on join in! We are inviting everyone across the Isle of Portland to take part in this year’s FRINGE.
This year the FRINGE is part of the b-side BIG Weekend, which is part of Portland & Weymouth Towns of Culture 2025. Let’s shine a light on all the incredible creativity on Portland. You don’t need to call yourself ‘an artist’ to take part. Anything goes, from open studios, decorating your window, to playing in your band in your garden!
HOW DO I JOIN IN?
Register your idea with us. All we ask is you make it available to the public. Create an artwork or event in your garden, front window or just outside your front door.
Timings to suit you – be open as much or as little as you can., you can do a few hours, one day or all four.

Deadline to register is April 20th 2025 to be included in the printed flier
NB. You can register later to be listed on the website ONLY, your listing will not appear in print,.
HOW CAN I TAKE PART?

- Have your creation ready for the BIG Weekend
- Enjoy all your audiences and admirers throughout the festival, and go check out your neighbour’s creations too!
