Rooted within the human experience, Daniela’s creative practice explores the themes of migration, identity, belonging, memory and language. Her work sits at the intersection of art, social engagement and research where she sets out to identify ways to provoke and push boundaries by encouraging learning, unlearning, exchange and sharing.
The focus of her practice is not defined by the physical output, but is rather shaped into something larger through the process, place, time, context and human interactions.
Daniela is the b-side & Counterpoints Arts Platform Bursary Artist 2020
