Sara Harpley

Sara is a part time hobbyist photographer local to Portland with a side hustle in astronomy.

She uses art, photography and craft at every opportunity for encouraging public engagement in all things space related; particularly education and information around the need for dark skies and the effects of light pollution on nature, our physical health and mental wellbeing. Her photography could be classed as experimental, often not using traditional camera techniques, but she is equally happy out with a proper camera on a dark night pondering the universe.
