Five Things I Know

Five Things I Know

NACRO supports young mums and young mums to be. Together with Peter Snelling they are creating a project that will use blogging, facebook, twitter and other online platforms to engage young mums from around the country to talk about their experiences.

The project will give young mums a set of questions and tasks that explore the joys and frustrations of being a teenage mum. The results of these will then be posted online and eventually collected into a physical exhibition in Weymouth.

The young people who have developed the project want to understand how teenage pregnancy is treated in different cultures around the world, they want to make connections with other teenage mothers and challenge some of the myths and stereotypes that exist about teenage mums in the UK.
