Carlos Cortes

Carlos Cortes has worked successfully since the 80’s in the fields of performing and visual arts.

His work has been exhibited, published and performed in several European countries and the USA. He exhibiting his visual art work in galleries and museums, and also creates and directs  installations,  performances movement based work and public art.
Carlos Cortes loves to “activating” spaces and groups of people, managing to engage large audiences in collective open-air dances, or  inspiring small groups through exploratory workshops that open the mind and release their creative energy. In recent years Cortes has developed a body of work based on his collaboration with communities, with an interest in heritage, architecture and landscape.
