A creative, visionary leader to drive the organisation’s ambition and expand our portfolio of funders. You will be an energised and positive team player who is able to engage others, work to specific goals, ‘get things done’ and design and deliver longer-term projects.

This is a unique and special opportunity to work with a small, ambitious and forward-looking team, which is forging new plans for future development.
You will play a key role in devising and leading change, working collaboratively with colleagues and in partnership with stakeholders in order to realise the full scale of b-side's considerable ambition.

You will be passionate about the value of the arts within communities and committed to encouraging diversity amongst providers, participants and the governance of the organisation.

Portland is an amazing place. A tied island, rich in landscape, industrial heritage, social history and community action. b-side is an amazing arts organisation, based on the Isle of Portland, supporting contemporary artists to co-author site-specific and site-responsive projects with our communities, then showcasing them in the biennial b-side festival.
